North of Gunnison, the Mill Creek Nordic Ski Trails are a network of looping tracks maintained by the Gunnison Nordic Ski Club.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Gunnison, head north on SR135 to Ohio Pass Road. Turn left heading north on Ohio Pass Road (CR730) for about 10 miles. Turn left on Mill Creek Road to the trailhead.

Overall, Mill Creek Nordic Ski Trails is the 45th most popular cross country ski area of all 58 Nordic ski destinations in Colorado.
