South of Zurich and west of Andermatt, the Goms region has the most popular langlaufen routes in Switzerland. This vast trail network stretches between Niederwald to Oberwald northeast up to Furkapasse. The 100km of trails are groomed for both classical and skate skiing, and link twelve villages.
The Goms cross country skiing trail network is accessible via Matterhorn-Gotthardbahn in upper Valais region. The town of Munstair is located in the center of the Goms langlauf loipen trail network and makes a great base.
Overall, Loipe Goms is the 17th most popular cross country ski area of all 22 Nordic ski destinations in Switzerland.
