Cortina d'Ampezzo Cross Country Skiing

The 11th most popular XC Ski in Italy.

North of Venice and northeast of Balzano, the Cortina d' Ampezzo region has plenty of groomed piste ski fondo. The best trails are located north of town, and it is possible to ski all the way to to Lago Negro.

A good place to start is at the Fiames Sport Nordic Center.

Overall, Cortina d'Ampezzo is the 11th most popular cross country ski area of all 16 Nordic ski destinations in Italy.
