South of Santiago near Malargue far west of Buenos Aires, the famous resort of Las Lenas has 16 km of cross country ski trails in the Andes.
Here at Las Lenas, be prepared for late dinners (like 10pm) and partying til dawn. For a rowdy time, try Innstruck Pub or Bash. For a late night club (like after 1am), check out BU Bar, Ku Club and UFO Club.
To access Las Lenas, most pople fly into Mendoza and take the 5 hour transfer van. The best way, though, is to take a charter flight into Malargue Airport (code LGS) that is served by AeroLineas (www.aerolineas.com.ar) from Ministro Pistarini International Airport (code EZE) in Buenos Aires.
Overall, Las Lenas is the 1st most popular cross country ski area of all 4 Nordic ski destinations in Argentina.
