Snowy Mountains Trails Cross Country Skiing

The 5th most popular XC Ski in Australia.

Southwest of Canberra and west of Cooma, the Snowy Mountain Range making up the heart of the 2600 sq. mile KNP has many trails of interest to cross country skiers include a 25 mile groomed trail network.

To reach the Kosciuszko National Park, fly into Canberra and follow Highway 23 south to Cooma, which makes a great base. Then head west on Highway 18 to Pine Valley. Veer left on Kosciousko Road heading southwest through Berridale to Jindabyne. Just past Jindabyne, turn left on Alpine Way Road and follow into the Snowy Mountains.

Overall, Snowy Mountains Trails is the 5th most popular cross country ski area of all 10 Nordic ski destinations in Australia.
