Starting from the Banff townsite at the Cave & Basin Site, the Sundance Canyon Trail is a cross country ski tour route along the Sundance Rnage up to the Banff Sundance Lodge and beyond. The first 16 km up to the lodge are groomed intermittently. The solar-powered lodge has 10 rustic guest rooms and indoor showers. An alternate cross country ski trailhead is off Sunshine Road.
