Southwest of Whistler in Garabaldi Park, the Black Tusk Trail begins near Function Junction and runs up to Loggers Lake and beyond to an access road. The cross country ski route up is 4,200 feet vertical over 16 km. The route back is a wild trek down. Function Junction is 6 km south of Whistler.

Overall, Black Tusk Trail is the 10th most popular cross country ski area of all 56 Nordic ski destinations in British Columbia.
