Kootenay Crossing Ski Trail

The 15th most popular cross country ski area in British Columbia.

Southwest of Banff and north east of Radium, there are two tracks at Kootenay Crossing. The flat Dolly Varden Trail runs 10 km to Crooks Meadow. The closed West Kootenay Fire Road follows the Kootenay River upstream for 13 km. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Radium, head east on Hwy 93 for 44 km.

Overall, Kootenay Crossing Ski Trail is the 15th most popular cross country ski area of all 56 Nordic ski destinations in British Columbia.
