Simpson River Ski Trail

The 26th most popular cross country ski area in British Columbia.

Southwest of Banff and north east of Radium, the the 8 km SRST is a gentle climb with some steeps leading to the Great Divide. Beyond the Divide, a trail leads down Surprise Creek to Rock Lake in the Mount Assiniboine Provicail Park. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Radium, head east on Hwy 93 for 58 km.

Overall, Simpson River Ski Trail is the 26th most popular cross country ski area of all 56 Nordic ski destinations in British Columbia.
