The Porcupine Ridge has 25 km of cross country skiing trails. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead, follow Route 11 north to Route 118. Head west on Route 118 into Bracebridge. Turn left onto Santas Village Road for 5 km to the trailhead parking area.

Overall, Porcupine Ridge is the 31st most popular cross country ski area of all 49 Nordic ski destinations in Ontario. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Porcupine Ridge including Bracebridge Resource Management Centre Trails, Silent Lake Provincial Park, South Monck Trails, Haliburton Forest, Mountain View Ski Area and Georgian Nordic Ski.
