The South Monck Trails is a 40 km system. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead, follow Route 11 north to Route 118. Head west on Route 118 into Bracebridge. The trailhead is behind the Canadian Tire Mall off Westvale.

Overall, South Monck Trails is the 28th most popular cross country ski area of all 49 Nordic ski destinations in Ontario. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby South Monck Trails including Bracebridge Resource Management Centre Trails, Silent Lake Provincial Park, Porcupine Ridge, Haliburton Forest, Mountain View Ski Area and Georgian Nordic Ski.
