Northumberland County Forest Cross Country Skiing

The 2nd most popular XC Ski in Ontario.

North of Cobourg, the 6600 acre Northumberland Forest has 40 km of multi-use trails. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Route 401, follow Route 45 for 14 km northeast to Beagle Club Road. Proceed north on Beagle Club Road for 1 km to parking area on left.

Overall, Northumberland County Forest is the 2nd most popular cross country ski area of all 48 Nordic ski destinations in Ontario.
