Southeast of Geneva and west of Chamonix, the Les Clusaz area has 42 km of cross country skiing trails on the Plateau des Confins and 19 km of nordic skiing trails on the Plateau de Bearnegard.

The town of Les Clusaz is a traditional French village framed by the Aravis Mountains. There is no train service, but the Annecy SNCF train station is only 20 miles away. The Annecy Airport is about 30 miles away.

If you plan to drive, use the A40 (white highway) to Exit #16 for Bonneville. Then, follow the Stations des Aravis at 12 miles. Once you are in the village, continue straight on for 4 km direction Vallee des Confins. The chalet is next to the chapel. In winter, roads are correctly cleared from snow however plan to have specific equipment (snow tires or chains).

Overall, La Clusaz is the 8th most popular cross country ski area of all 19 Nordic ski destinations in France.
