Monetecito-Sequoia Cross-Country Ski Area

The 16th most popular cross country ski area in California.

Located between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park east of Fresno, the Monetecito-Sequoia Cross-Country Ski Area has over 80 km of backcountry trails and 35 km of groomed tracks. The routes wind through mixed pine and cedar forests under the shadow of Mt. Eisen (12,000).

The trailhead is located at the Wolverton Ski Area.

Overall, Monetecito-Sequoia Cross-Country Ski Area is the 16th most popular cross country ski area of all 38 Nordic ski destinations in California.
