Near Yosemite National Park, the Yosemite Cross Country Ski School maintains over 40 km of groomed tracks and 90 miles of marked trails leading to spectacular views of Yosemite Valley above 7,000 feet. While a favorite day trip is the 33km round-trip to Glacier Point, check out the overnight hut trip to Glacier Point as well.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of SR 49 and SR 140 in Mariposa, go Northeast on SR 140 for 39 miles. Go right on SR 41 for 14 miles. Turn left (east) on Glacier Point Rd and go about 5 miles to the ski area.

Overall, Yosemite Ski Center is the 2nd most popular cross country ski area of all 36 Nordic ski destinations in California.
