Munising Cross-Country Ski Trail

The 20th most popular cross country ski area in Michigan.

On the Upper Peninsula northeast of Munising, the Munising Cross-Country Ski Trail is a 10+ mile network of groomed trails. The trails wind through beautiful landscape of beech, maple, hemlock, pine and spruce trees on sandy uplands and rugged hills. The trails vary from easy to difficult.

To reach the trailhead from Munising, follow CR58 west past the Munising Falls Interpretive Center. Parking is on the left (north) side of the road.

Overall, Munising Cross-Country Ski Trail is the 20th most popular cross country ski area of all 49 Nordic ski destinations in Michigan.
