Located along the BWCA wilderness boundary, the 29 mile Banadad Trail is a cross country ski track through pristine boreal forest. The eastern trailhead is between Swamp Lake and Poplar Lake near the Poplar Creek Yurt and the Little Ollie Ski cabin. The BT runs west parallel to the Gunflint Trail past the Craft and Olga Yurts. The western trailhead is near the Gunflint Lodge. With so many trails at either ends and yurts along the way, it makes for a great over night adventure.
