Burke Cross Country Ski

The 3rd most popular cross country ski area in Vermont.

In the Northeast Kingdom, the Burke Nordic Center has 75km of cross country trails on private land for public use.

To reach East Burke from St. Johnsbury, head north on US91 to Exit 23. Follow SR114 north for 12 miles.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from SR5 in Lyndonville take rout 114 to East Burke. Shortly after passing the East Burke gas station, turn right o­nto Mountain Road. Stay o­n Mountain road past the Burke Mountain Downhill Area. Stay straight, crossing the yellow line, o­nto Pinkham Road. At this point Mountain Road curves uphill to the right, do not follow! Pinkham Road is a dirt road. Follow Pinkham Road for 2.1 miles. The Nordic Center is o­n your right with a green sign hanging from a tree. If you get lost call 802-535-7722.

Overall, Burke Cross Country Ski is the 3rd most popular cross country ski area of all 29 Nordic ski destinations in Vermont.
