Rikert Nordic Center

The 14th most popular cross country ski area in Vermont.

Near Middlebury in the Green Mountain National Forest, the Rikert Nordic Center has over 55km of cross country ski trails groomed for classic and skate skiing. The trails roll through old farms and forests. The Rikert Nordic Center has an FIS-certified 5km homologated race course. Also, in the nearby section of the Green Mountain National Forest, there are several popular cross country skiing trails such as the Minnie Baker Trail, Leicester Hollow Trail and the Silver Lake Trail. The Rickert cross country ski area is located at 106 College Cross Road in Ripton on the Campus of Bread Loaf School of English. To reach the nordic center from East Middlebury at SR7, head east on SR125 for 7 miles.

Overall, Rikert Nordic Center is the 14th most popular cross country ski area of all 29 Nordic ski destinations in Vermont.
