Bolton Valley Cross Country Skiing

The 6th most popular XC Ski in Vermont.

In the Bolton Valley north of the Green Mountain National Forest, there are over 100 km of cross-country ski trails, a third of which are groomed. The aggressive terrain provides opportunities for touring, backcountry and telemark.

To reach Bolton Valley Resort from the south, head north on US89 to Exit 10 for Waterbury. Turn left off the exit ramp on SR100. Turn right on US 2 heading west for about 8 miles. Turn right on Bolton Valley Access Road for 5 miles. The ski area is located at 4302 Bolton Valley Access Road in Bolton Valley.

Overall, Bolton Valley is the 6th most popular cross country ski area of all 29 Nordic ski destinations in Vermont.
