Haig Glacier Cross Country Skiing

The 3rd most popular XC Ski in Alberta.

South of Canmore off Highway 40, the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park has 26 groomed ski trails totaling 85km.

The Haig Glacier at nearly 8,000 feet is an ideal summer training ground for cross country skiers, but accomodations are limited.

Overall, Haig Glacier is the 3rd most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
