Northeast of Seeley Lake, the Seeley Creek Trails is a 18km network of cross country skiing trails intermittently groomed by the local ski club. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Seeley Lake, head north on US83. Turn right on FS477 (Cottonwood Lakes Road) heading east for 1.1 miles. The trailhead parking is on the left.

Overall, Seeley Creek Trails is the 9th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Montana.
