West of Jackson at Teton Village, the Jackson Hole Nordic Center has 17km of groomed trails in the shadow of the Teton Peaks. Plus, the adjacent ski resort lifts give access to unlimited backcountry skiing with the new open gate policy.

Overall, Jackson Hole Nordic Center is the 3rd most popular cross country ski area of all 26 Nordic ski destinations in Wyoming. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Jackson Hole Nordic Center including Jenny Lake Loop, Signal Mountain, Jackson Ski Touring Foundation, Mt. Washington Valley, Shadow Mountain and Cache Creek CanyonCurtis Canyon.
