North of Jackson and Moose Junction in the Grand Teton National Park, the Jenny Lake Loop is a 6 to 10 mile round trip along an unplowed road. The route from the trailhead runs through meadows to the shore of Jenny Lake. This ungroomed route is popular and you'll be following a manually groomed track.
West of Jackson at Teton Village, the Jackson Hole Nordic Center has 17km of groomed trails in the shadow of the Teton Peaks. These nordic trails gently roll along the valley floor through open meadows.
Northwest of Buffalo in the Bighorn National Forest, the Willow Park Nordic Ski Trails is an extensive network of 27 miles of ungroomed cross country ski trails. There are several loops of varying levels of difficulty from easy to most difficult.
South of Jackson and northeast of Pinedale, the White Pine nordic ski trail system has over 35km of cross country skiing. There are 9km groomed for classical and for skate skiing.
South of Jackson and northeast of Pinedale, the CCC Ponds nordic ski trails have 5km of groomed cross country skiing. The trail system consists of 4 short loops and several connector trails totaling 5km. While in the CCC Pond Loop, make sure to watch out for moose in the dense willows.
