Southeast of Kamas, the 12 mile Wolf Creek area is popular with local snowmobile riders because of its awesome boondocking near Wolf Creek Pass. This primitive area has plenty of climbing hills and deep powder.
Southeast of Salt Lake City and east of Heber City, the Wasatch Mountain Snowmobile Complex has groomed snowmobile trails at elevations ranging from 7,000 to 9,000 feet. There are 10 snowmobilng trails at the Wasatch Mountain Complex totaling 70 miles of groomed routes.
South of Kamas, the Strawberry Snowmobile Complex has about 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. There are numerous play ares and many steep hill climbs. The Strawberry Trail (H) is the main backbone route providing access to numerous side trails. This is a wide and well-groomed route following the western shores of Strawberry Reservoir. It is a great family ride and accesses many play areas.
