Northeast of Rockford in Winnebago County, the Rock Cut State Park has 14 miles of snowmobile trails through rolling terrain. The snowmobile trails in the Rock Cut State Park are open from 8 am to 5 pm.

The snowmobiling in Rock Cut State Park is located 6 miles northeast of Rockford in Winnebago County, features scenic woodlands. To reach the trailhead, follow US 90 to the Riverside Exit. Head west on Riverside Road and turn right on Perryville Road. After 3 miles, turn right on Harlem Road and continue for 4+ miles to the park entrance. Snowmobilers should use the Hart Road entrance to gain access to the trail head.

While snowmobiling Rock Cut State Park, all snowmobiles must display a valid State of Illinois snowmobile registration sticker. This is required by both residents and non-residents.
