Fort McMurray Snowmobiling

The 12th most popular snowmobile trail in Alberta.

Northeast of Edmonton, the Fort McMurray trail system has 250km of intermittently groomed, partially signed snowmobile trails. The snowmobiling trail network consists of four trail systems: Anzac Area, Draper Rail Bed, Stoney Mountain, and Tower Road.

These snowmobile trails are maintained by the McMurray Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club.

Overall, Fort McMurray is the 12th most popular snowmobile trail of all 47 snowmobiling rides in Alberta. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Fort McMurray including Edson, Fort Saskatchewan, Swan, Grande Prairie, Athabasca and Bonnyville.
