Northeast of Edmonton, the Fort Saskatchewan trail system has 160km of intermittently groomed, partially signed snowmobile trails. The Fort Saskatchewan snowmobile trails are maintained by the Fort Saskatchewan Snow Angles Club.

This snowmobiling trail is 95% on private land hosting a variety of terrain's, from wide-open fields to the North Saskatchewan River valley and the sand hills north of Bruderheim.

Overall, Fort Saskatchewan is the 6th most popular snowmobile trail of all 47 snowmobiling rides in Alberta. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Fort Saskatchewan including Edson, Fort McMurray, Swan, Grande Prairie, Athabasca and Bonnyville.
