Southwest of Fort Wayne and Huntington, the 20+ mile Salamonie Snowmobile Trail runs along the south side of Salamonie Reservoir and is maintained by the Salamonie Trailmasters.

The snowmobiling trailhead for the Salamonie Snowmobile Trail is located in Lost Bridge East SRA off Lost Bridge Road (CR400).

To reach the trailhead from US69, use Exit 78. Head north on SR5. Turn left heading west on SR124 through Mt Etna. Turn right heading north on SR105. Turn right heading east on Lost Bridge Road.

Overall, Salamonie Snowmobile Trail is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 5 snowmobiling rides in Indiana.
