Near Lewisburg, the Bald Eagle State Forest has over 400 miles of snowmobile routes and two primary snowmobiling areas: North Division and South Division.

To reach the snowmobiling trailhead for Bald Eagle State Forest, which is east of Woodard, starting from Millheim at the intersection of SR 445 and SR 45, go east on SR 45 for 10.6 miles. Turn left (north) on Winkelblech Mountain Rd. Park on the right.

While snowmobiling Bald Eagle State Forest, all snowmobiles must have a valid registration with the Pennsylvania Department Of Conservation And Natural Resources. The registration can be obtained from the PA DOC directly or through one of 1,000 dealers in the state.
