Seven Mountains Snowmobile Trail

The 8th most popular snowmobile trail in Pennsylvania.

Just south of State College, the Rothrock State Forest has miles of snowmobile trails. There are two main snowmobiling areas: Seven Mountains and Trough Creek.

To reach the Alan Seeger Picnic Area snowmobiling trailhead from the intersection of US 322 and SR 26 in the town of State College, go south on SR 26 for 11 miles. Turn left onto Stone Creek Rd. And go about 7.5 miles to picnic area and parking.

While snowmobiling Rothrock State Forest, all snowmobiles must have a valid registration with the Pennsylvania Department Of Conservation And Natural Resources. The registration can be obtained from the PA DOC directly or through one of 1,000 dealers in the state.
