Yellowstone National Park Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling is currently permitted on Yellowstones groomed roadways including the Grand Loop Road. These roads provide viewing access to abundant wildlife and thermal features. The West Yellowstone, Montana, area is a great base for exploring the regions snowmobile trails. It is very snowmobile friendly with trail right from town.

Note: the State of Wyoming requires residents and non-residents to display an annual Wyoming snowmobile registration decal. The annual fee revenues are used by the Snowmobile Trails Fund for trail grooming and maintenance. Decals may be purchased by calling (877) 996-7275.

Overall, Yellowstone National Park is the 8th most popular snowmobile trail of all 16 snowmobiling rides in Wyoming.
