East of Mt Shasta and Weed in Siskiyou County, there are 260 miles of groomed snowmobile trails across elevations ranging from 4,500 to 8,000 feet.

To reach the Pilgrim Creek Snowmobile Park from the intersection of FR 13 and SR 89 just east of McCloud, go north-northeast on FR 13 for 7.5 miles. Look for the Snowmobile Park at the intersection of FR 13 and FR 19.

Overall, Mount Shasta is the 6th most popular snowmobile trail of all 31 snowmobiling rides in California.
