North of Sun Valley near Stanley in the Sawtooth National Forest, there are 165 miles of groomed snowmobile trails at elevations ranging from 6,200 to 10,000 feet.

To reach the snowmobile trailhead from Stanley at SR75, head west on SR21 for 4 miles. Just past mile marker 126, turn left heading south on Stanley Lake Access Road.

Overall, Stanley is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 19 snowmobiling rides in Idaho.
