Southeast of Kamas, the 12 mile Wolf Creek area is popular with local snowmobile riders because of its awesome boondocking near Wolf Creek Pass. This primitive area has plenty of climbing hills and deep powder.

The snowmobiling trailhead Wolf Creek is located 15 miles southeast of Kamas on SR35.

Overall, Wolf Creek is the 4th most popular snowmobile trail of all 14 snowmobiling rides in Utah. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Wolf Creek including Unita Basin Complex, Wasatch Mountain Complex and Strawberry Complex.
