Northwest of Marquette and northeast of Houghton on the upper peninsula, the Keweenaw Peninsula juts 100 miles into Lake Superior and has 233 miles of excellent groomed snowmobile trails. Don't miss riding the snowmobiling on Bill Nichols Trail or the awesome views from the Brockway Mountain Trail.
The Keweenaw County snowmobiling trails are maintained by Keweenaw Trails Services with support by the Keweenaw County Visitors Bureau. The trails are groomed daily by five grooming machines, and are typically 10 feet to 16 feet wide. The grooming runs through the end of March, as snow permits.
