West of Cadillac, the Mesick Route is a 16.5 mile groomed snowmobile trail.

To reach the snowmobiling trailhead for the Mesick Route from the intersection of SR 55 and SR 115 west of Cadillac, go west on SR 55 for 12.8 miles. Turn right on 13 Rd. Park on right.

Overall, Mesick Route is the 18th most popular snowmobile trail of all 36 snowmobiling rides in Michigan. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Mesick Route including Cadillac West, Silver Creek, Caberfae Way and Honeymoon Lake.
