In the Cadillac / Manistee Ranger District, the Silver Creek Trail is a groomed snowmobile route.

To reach the snowmobiling trailhead for Silver Creek on SR68 from the intersection of US 23 and SR 68 in Rogers City, head west on SR 68 for 10.3 miles to the trailhead on the right.

Overall, Silver Creek is the 28th most popular snowmobile trail of all 36 snowmobiling rides in Michigan. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Silver Creek including Cadillac West, Mesick Route, Caberfae Way and Honeymoon Lake.
