Near Klamath Falls in the Winema National Forest, there are 250 miles of groomed snowmobile trails at elevations ranging from 4,600 to 8,000 feet.

On of the better places to start is the Crescent Lake Area. Crescent Lake is approximately 75 miles southeast of the Eugene-Springfield area. From Eugene, head south on I-5 to exit 188A. After 0.3 miles, veer left at the fork to highway 58. Drive down highway 58, three miles south of Odell Lake, and take the Forest Rd. 60 turnoff. There are signs for both sno-parks - Crescent Lake sno-park is one mile after the turn onto Forest Road 60, and Crescent Lake Junction sno-park is approximately two miles after the turn onto 60.

Overall, Klamath County is the 20th most popular snowmobile trail of all 30 snowmobiling rides in Oregon.
