East of Prineville in the Ochoco National Forest, the Ochoco area has 70 miles of groomed snowmobile trails at elevations ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 feet.

To reach the snowmobile parking at the Big Summit Sno Park from Prineville, head east on US26 for about 28 miles.

Overall, Ochoco - Big Summit Sno Park is the 11th most popular snowmobile trail of all 30 snowmobiling rides in Oregon.
