Northwest of Prince Albert, the Meadow Lake area has 300km of groomed trails through forest, fields and lakes. The snowmobile trails connect Meadow Lake with nearby tows of Turtle Lake, Goodsoil, Dorintosh and Chitek Lake. About 160km of the trail system is part of the Trans Canada Snowmobile Trail.

The Meadow Lake snowmobiling trails are maintained by the Northern Lights Snowmobile Association.

Overall, Meadow Lake is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 17 snowmobiling rides in Saskatchewan. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Meadow Lake including Nipawin, Lac La Ronge, Melfort, Forest Fringe, Hudson Bay and Whelan Bay.
