North of Saratoga Springs, the area between Lake George and Lake Luzerne has miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The Lake George snowmobile trails are groomed by the South Warren Snowmobile Club.

When snowmobiling Lake George, all snowmobiles must have a New York State snowmobile registration unless you are riding on your own private property.

Overall, Lake George is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 49 snowmobiling rides in New York.
