Northwest of Calgary and Sundre in the Bow Crow Forest Reserve, the Bearberry Nordic Centre has 35km of snowmobile trails rolling through pine and spruce forests.
To reach the snowmobiling trailhead at the Bearberry Nordic Centre from Sundre, head west on Highway 584 for 35 km (the Centre is 10km west of the Bearberry Saloon). All the roads are paved. Stay always on Highway, it is a paved road until you come to the James River. Cross the James River bridge, there you will see the Bearberry Nordic Centre sign. Please turn to the right onto our private driveway.
Overall, Bearberry Nordic Centre is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 47 snowmobiling rides in Alberta. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Bearberry Nordic Centre including Caroline Tay River Trail and Olds.
