North of Springfield and west of Greenfield and Shelburne Falls, the 7,800 acre Kenneth Dubuque Memorial State Forest has 47 miles of snowmobile trails through rolling woods.

To reach the snowmobiling trailhead for Kenneth Dubuque State Forest from Greenfield, head west on SR2 for 16 miles into Charlemont. Turn left heading south on SR8A. Park at the Forest HQ in Hawley.
