Best Belleplain State Forest Snowmobiling

West of Atlantic City and south of Vineland near Woodbine, the 20,700 acre Belleplain State Forest in Cumberland County has 24 miles of snowmobiling trails along flat old roads and abandoned railroad grades.

The snowmobiling in the Belleplain State Forest can be reached via the Garden State Parkway by taking exit 17 southbound (exit 17) to Routes 9 and 550 or exit 13 northbound. Highway signs are provided to guide the motorist to the forest.

While snowmobiling Belleplain State Forest, the snowmobile must be registered with the New Jersey MVC Agency. The driver does not need a permit or license, but the driver must be at least 14 years old and must wear an approved helmet.

Overall, Belleplain State Forest is the 7th most popular snowmobile trail of all 8 snowmobiling rides in New Jersey.
