Northwest of LaGrande in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, the Mt Emily Trail is a 37 mile snowmobile route following FS31 (aka Skyline Road). This 37 mile trail begins on the north end from Oregon State Highway 204 and connects on the south end to Interstate 84. The snowmobile trail offers several views of the Grande Ronde Valley as well as side trips to High Ridge Lookout and Indian Rock. A snowmobile warming shelter is located at Ruckle Junction approximately 12 miles south of Highway 204.

To reach the trailhead from Eglin at SR82, head north on SR204 for 13 miles to the intersection with FS31.

Overall, Mt Emily Trail is the 12th most popular snowmobile trail of all 30 snowmobiling rides in Oregon.
