Niagara County Snowmobiling

Northeast of Buffalo, the Niagara County area has diverse snowmobiling routes linking the towns of Niagara, Wheatfield, Sanborn, Pekin, Lewiston, Cambria, and Ransomville. Most of the snowmobile trails are on private property so make sure to be careful and respectful. The Niagara County snowmobile trails are groomed by the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs Snowmobile Club.

To reach the southwestern snowmobiling trailhead for the Niagara County Snowmobile Trails near Bergholtz from the intersection of US 62 and I-90 in Niagara Falls, go east on US 62 for almost 4 miles to parking. The snowmobile trail is on the north side of the road.

When snowmobiling Niagara County, all snowmobiles must have a New York State snowmobile registration unless you are riding on your own private property.

Overall, Niagara County is the 10th most popular snowmobile trail of all 49 snowmobiling rides in New York.
