Northeast of Littleton near Lancaster, the Whitefield area has an extensive network of groomed snowmobile trails. These snowmobiling trails are maintained by the Whitefield Sno-kings Club.
A good place to start is the snowmobiling trailhead just north of Whitefiled. To reach the trailhead from the intersection of US 3 and SR 116 in Whitefield, go north on US 3 for 2 miles. Park on the left at Silas Hill Road.
While snowmobiling Whitefield, all snowmobiles must have a New Hampshire OHRV registration decal. To obtain a NH OHRV registration decal, you will need to show proof of member ship in a New Hampshire snowmobile club, such as the Whitefield Sno-kings Club.
Overall, Whitefield is the 24th most popular snowmobile trail of all 31 snowmobiling rides in New Hampshire. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Whitefield including Coos County, Colebrook State Park, Groveton, Pittsburg Snowmobile Trail System, Twin Mountain and Bartlett .
