North of Pittsfield near Adams in Berkshire County, there is an extensive snowmobile trail system maintained by the Adams Sno-Drifters snowmobile club.

Overall, Adams is the 12th most popular snowmobile trail of all 18 snowmobiling rides in Massachusetts. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Adams including Mount Greylock State Reservation, Tolland State Forest, Pittsfield State Forest, Beartown State Forest, Buckland and Otis.
