Northeast of Truckee and southwest of Sierraville, the Little Truckee Summit - Yuba Pass Winter Trail System has over 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The Little Truckee Summit Winter Trails are maintained by the California/Nevada Snowmobile Association.

The primary snowmobiling sno-park is at Yuba Pass, and a secondary parking area is plowed at Little Truckee Summit.

Overall, Little Truckee Summit Winter Trails is the 3rd most popular snowmobile trail of all 31 snowmobiling rides in California. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Little Truckee Summit Winter Trails including Yuba Pass Winter Trails, Lake Basin , Ebbetts Pass Area, Hope Valley Snow Park and Blackwood Canyon Sno-Park.
